Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching
2010 PAEMST - Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching are the Nation's highest honor for K-12 teachers of mathematics and science. The Awards recognize outstanding teachers for their contributions in the classroom and to their profession and are conferred by the President of the United States of America.
The 2010 Awards will honor Math and Science teachers working in grades K-6. (Save your enthusiasm for teachers of grades 7-12 for the 2011 Awards). Nominations for highly qualified teachers who have at least 5 years of mathematics or science teaching experience at Grades K-6 in a public or private school are now being accepted. The deadline for nominations is April 1, 2010. Self-nominations are permissible. |
