Adult Education programs are free to Connecticut residents aged 16 and older who are no longer enrolled in a public school. Instructional programs
include basic literacy skills, English language acquisition, citizenship and secondary school completion including preparation for the high school equivalency exam (GED)
Although programs are provided predominantly through local school districts, opportunities and specialty programs are available in the workplace and through various community-based organizations. Check our provider directory (PDF)
