    State Legislative Report Card
    Section 31-3bb of the Connecticut General Statutes requires the Connecticut Employment and Training Commission (CETC) to report on the employment outcomes achieved by individuals participating in all employment and training programs in their annual inventory. The programs that report data can be grouped into three categories: 1) Short term training and employment services programs, 2) post-secondary programs, and 3) adult education programs that address the needs for adults to improve basic skill. All outcomes are ascertained through the Connecticut Department of Laborís Office of Performance Management and Office of Research.
    The State Legislative Report Card is published online by the Charter Oak Group which serves as consultant to the CETC.
    State Board of Education Reports
    The Department submits an annual report to the State Board of Education with respect to its adult education activities.
    Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Participation Data
    Adult education providers use the Connecticut Adult Reporting System (CARS) to report on the welfare status of individuals who enter their programs. This information is aggregated by the learner's town of residence and provided to the Connecticut Department of Social Services.
