Support for Pregnant and Parenting Teens Grant

The Support for Pregnant and Parenting Teens (SPPT) Grant is a school-based grant program available in six Connecticut school districts with the highest teen pregnancy and school dropout rates (Bridgeport, Hartford, New Britain, New Haven, Waterbury and Windham).  The programs are located in comprehensive high schools serving students in grades 9-12, with a focus on improving the health, education and social outcomes for expectant and parenting students and their children.  The main goal is to increase school retention and graduation rates.
