Title 1

School-Family-Community Partnerships (SFCP) help educators, parents and community members develop partnerships by providing training, workshops, newsletters, books, videos and other resources. The project is designed to promote policies and programs at the local level and to increase public awareness of the positive impact of partnerships on student learning. Led by the State Department of Education, SERC and CREC, this project has been working to increase family and community involvement since 1995.

Commissioner's Roundtable on Family and Community Engagement in Education

The purpose of the Commissioner's Roundtable for Family and Community Engagement in Education is to advise the Commissioner of Education regarding policy and programmatic priorities to improve outcomes for all students and advance the State Board of Education's comprehensive plan for equity and excellence in Connecticut schools.
